We moved to Gudbrandsdalen for a slower pace of life. We found a farm, restored it, and filled it with horses, flowers, and friends. Eventually, people asked, “Can we come visit?” So we opened up a few rooms. Added a garden where you can pick your own produce. Prepared dinners that were enjoyed at a long table. Now Fru Holmen is a small farm inn, a stable, a kitchen garden, and a place where it’s okay to lose track of time.
